    What are the similarities and differences between Orlando’s and Rosalind’s views of love?

    Orlando and Rosalind both have very strong feelings of love (or at least infatuation), and both find these feelings somewhat dangerous and painful. Orlando, however, has an idealistic picture of love, whereas Rosalind recognizes that true love has to withstand the reality of everyday quarrels and other disappointments. Rosalind, the more verbally intelligent of the pair, also displays a preference for talking with a lover, while Orlando wants to move straight into physical affection.
