Long-term Project
Objective:
Students will write a final response in their journals.
Common Core Standards:
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.1.B
Structure:
To conclude the long-term journaling project, ask students to prepare one more entry which summarizes their feelings on a given character. These responses should take the entire character arc into consideration. You may expand the scope of this project and have students prepare a longer piece on their character, as well, in which case you may want to assign this for homework.
