Objective:

Students will perform their prepared scenes for the class

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.9-10.6

Structure:

Students will be performing their prepared 5-minute scripted scenes. As they are encouraged to expand on or shorten the passages or dialogue as they see fit, they must also hand in a written explanation of their choices. If time allows, these written explanations could also serve as the basis for classwide discussions following each scene exploring why each group made their particular artistic decisions.
