Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe Lesson Plan

Discuss the conversation Ari has with Mr. Quintana the day after he gets back from Tucson.

Ari has a funny feeling in the pit of his stomach as he goes over to Dante's house to pick up Legs. By the look on Mr. Quintana's face, he can tell something is wrong. Mr. Quintana explains that Dante is in the hospital and has been badly beaten up. When Ari wants to know more about what happened, Mr. Quintana asks how close he and Dante are. Ari knows what Mr. Quintana is really asking and after playing dumb asks Mr. Quintana, "did he tell you?" This confirms Ari knows without him having to verbally say it.
