The above description conveys a moment that is handpicked from my attempts to compose historical fiction. I find myself stumbling on the seemingly little but increasingly important details, owing to my limited knowledge of classical civilizations. However, Agnes Scott College is an institution which promises a solution to this problem.

The thought of pursuing a major in English Literature and Creative Writing along with a minor in Classical Civilizations and engaging with these fields of study that very literally ‘hold each other’s hand’ contributing towards my overall goal as an author specializing in historical fiction magnetically pulled me towards Agness Scott College. In addition, the comfortably small campus, the vibrant woman community and the diversity of students forge other significant reasons.
