Rhiannon
Rhiannon is the main character, protagonist, and narrator of Another Day. At the start of the novel, readers see her in her everyday life with her boyfriend, Justin. She cares for Justin deeply and appreciates the stability he provides her; however, those feelings aren't reciprocated. Justin frequently wants nothing to do with Rhiannon, upsetting her greatly and causing the two to fight each other.
Still, Rhiannon continues to live her life as best as she can. Her relationship with Justin, while less than perfect, continues for the time being because Rhiannon hopes that Justin will change. He never does, leading her to seek A out. She loves the way that A makes her feel and thinks that their relationship will be fruitful. Ultimately, it isn't. She learns a lot about herself and the world around her.
Aside from her romantic pursuits, Rhiannon enjoys dancing, talking, having fun, and spending time with each other. She is a kind and loyal woman.
A
A is an amorphous being who plays a central role in Another Day. Every day, A wakes up in the body of someone new. No matter their gender, location, or social status, A embodies different people each day. No matter what body they inhabit, though, A carries himself well. They treat everyone they come across with respect, kindness, and, occasionally, love. They are a wonderful person who frequently touches the lives of those near them, including Rhiannon.
Justin
Justin is Rhiannon's boyfriend and the central protagonist in the story. Although he has positive characteristics, he is the antagonist of the story. His girlfriend, Rhiannon (whom he lives with), loves Justin dearly. And while Rhiannon is intense in her commitment, Justin is not. He often starts arguments with Rhiannon because of his selfishness and his inability to communicate his wants and desires. To that end, he frequently takes advantage of Rhiannon's kindness so that he can be in a better position in life.
Nathan Daldry
Nathan Daldry is another body that A inhabits. One night, Rhiannon receives an email from Nathan, who says that he wants to meet up with her. At first, Rhiannon is apprehensive, but she eventually decides to go. A, through Nathan's body, explains that they have a condition that forces them to switch bodies every day. After, the two have a memorable night together, dancing and having fun.
