Structure:

In the second tale, the Apothecary wants to cut down the yew tree in the graveyard to utilize its healing elements. The monster tells Conor that yew trees berries, bark, leaves, sap, pulp, and wood can all be used to "cure almost any ailment man suffers from, mixed and treated by the right apothecary."

For this activity, students will be placed into pairs to research yew trees and respond to the worksheet questions.
