Chapter 7. What plans did Mr. Loomis have for their future?

Mr. Loomis standing at the gatepost while she is working in the fields. He feels bored and comes out to watch her work. He also gives her information about how to pump out gas for her tractor without electricity. She is delighted at the thought of having to do less work and also using the tractor to farm and plan for future harvests and food storage.
