What happens at the end of the prologue?

At the end of the prologue, we learn that Jason has been immersed in a memory, and that it's been seventy years since he witnesses Marlena murder a man who's been yelling at her. We also learn that he hasn't told a soul, as he's kept what he witnessed a secret since the day it happened.
