What news does cole receive from Edwin and Garvey at the chapters end ?Would you have made the same decision?why or why not?

Garvey tells Cole that they convinced the Circle to release Cole to the custody of both Garvey and Edwin. Garvey and Edwin "stuck their necks out" for Cole because they still believed in him, "you're going back to the island" Garvey tells Cole. I really don't think I would have given Cole a second chance. I don't have the patience that Garvey and Edwin have. I probably would not have seen the potential in Cole that the two men see.
