Cole Matthews assaults Peter Driscal because of an incident where Cole Matthews had broken into a hardware store and got told on by Peter. Once Cole found out that Peter had told on him, he had gone straight after Peter, cornering and assaulting him. Police had come to a conclusion that if it weren’t for the fact that his dad is an abusive father, Cole’s sentence would be a lot worse.
