Who sends over food to the Finches?

The black community of Maycomb sends food, that they need themselves, to Atticus to thank him for standing up for Tom Robinson and risking so much of his personal life to defend him.

The black community sends the food to Atticus and the rest of the Finches . They send do this so that they can show gratuity towards Atticus for standing up for Tom Robinson when no one else would,even though he failed do to the injustice back in the 1900's.
