who is scout?

Scout is the narrator of the story. Much like her brother Jem, Scout develops much like her character in the book. She matures into a feisty champion of doing the right thing. She loses her childish beliefs in rumour (Boo Radley) and sees the world as an unfair place but worth fighting for.
