What is the thematic significant of this advice?
atticus tells scout, "you never really understand a person... intel you climb into his skin and walk around it."

This is actually a theme for everybody. We seldom understand people until we look at things from their point of view. Within the context of the novel, Scout only begins to see Boo Radley as a human being until she sees things through Boo's eyes. Similarily, Scout and Jem don't understand Mrs. Dubose until they see her through her eyes.
