Scout is struggling with a few things in Chapter Fourteen. She is struggling to understand Atticus' role in the trial, and the community's reaction to his involvement. She is struggling with Dill's sudden appearance and how to handle his running away (Jem will handle this), and she is struggling to understand who Boo, like Dill, doesn't just run away.
