What does Scout do in front of Uncle Jack that gets her in trouble?

Scout gets in trouble after she hit Francis for insulting Atticus, "split my knuckle to the bone on his (cousin Francis') front teeth." She later argued with Uncle Jack about it and looked to be less than respectful to him.
