Was it good or bad for Atticus' children to be at the trial?

This question calls for your opinion. There is not right or wrong answer. I personally would not have allowed my own children to attend the trial..... none-the-less, Jem and Scout were in a different position..... small town, and their father was personally involved. Thus, in my opinion, it was likely both good and bad.
