how does the story of the grey ghost resonate with the themes of the novel?

We might see the grey ghost as a symbol of good and evil... and the way the two can somethimes make things appear to be different than what they are. Boo Radley, in his own way, symbolizes the Grey Ghost. He is Scout's benevolent ghost.... a symbol of kindness and charity, even though his appearance... he looks pale with "colorless eyes"and is "dead and thin." In context, Boo, like the character of Stoner's boy, is misjudged.
