Shoes Project

I have a project in class due tomorrow, please help. I am supposed to write a short story (2 pages double spaced) about a shoe. This is for Atticus's quote "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view [...] until you climb into his skin and walk around in it". We selected a shoe randomly and I got a pair of what seems to be a little kid's sandals. I have to write about who wore it, what they were worn for, just how the sandals came to be present day, what it's story is. I also can't have it be so vague (for example I can't write about a boy who bought the shoes and wore it for when he played outside, it has to have some sense of uniqueness). Thank you.
