To Kill a Mockingbird
Scout still thinks about Boo Radley. What does she imagine her conversation would be like?
Ch 26
Ch 26
Scout tells Jem that she is no longer afraid of the Radley place and that she feels guilty for harassing him. Scout fantasizes about meeting Boo Radley imagining that he might be sitting on the swing outside. Scout would walk towards Boo and say, "Hidy do, Mr. Arthur," and Boo would respond by saying, "Evening, Jean Louise." They would talk about pleasantries like the weather.
