How does Scout demonstrate that she has taken to heart Atticus’s advice about seeing things from others’ perspectives?

I think the ending of the novel really demonstrates this. She sees Boo in a new way. He is no longer the monster next door but rather a friend and guardian angel. She simply says "hey boo" like she's known he had a gentle soul all of her life, perhaps she really did.
