To write about Bob Ewell it would be important to look at Chapter 17 where he testifies in court. He is arrogant, ignorant and crude. We are clearly shown that he is a cruel father and a lazy drunkard. His vile and indolent ways are further illulstrated in Chapter 18 when Mayella testifies.
We see by Chapter 27 how Bob Ewell taunts Tom Robinson's wife, even after her husband is incorrectly found guilty and is dead. We realise there is no redemption for him.
Bob's cowardly attack on Jem and Scout after the pageant has a sense of justice when he dies in the attack- most likely killed by Boo Radley who came to the aid of his friends.
