since you asked....;) um do you know of three reasons how atticus and heck tate lied about what happened to robert ewell? i have that he was protecting boo/arthur and he thought there was more justice that way, but what's one more?

yes/no amanda. it was sort of for ewell's benefit,but it also wasn't. he was not trying to protect Boo, he was blaming Atticus about losing his job so he attacks the children instead of Atticus himself.
