How does the man in "To Build a Fire" represent the upper class
Outside of the fact the man seems to be educated rather than inexperienced, I see no evidence of his representing the upper class. Ignorance of the cold in the Yukon might be just as prominant in a poverty stricken man from the big city looking to make his mark in the world.
