A problem to discuss? The men decide to escape the stresses of the city (their problem) and take a river trip in order to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the countryside. If we are talking about stress, yes, it is a definite problem. Life in London is hectic and overwhelming to the friends during this period in their life, and they each suffer from a sort of hypochondria. They're hoping to forget their day to day troubles, so they can return to the world relaxed and ready to resume their lives.
