How are language features used to create empathy or controversy in Things Fall Apart?

I'm not sure about what you mean by "language features". The diction is culturally specific to the Igbo. The language must be examined through a culturally sensitive lens. Empathy and controversy is rather subjective depending on how the reader relates.
