Why do the student respond enthusiastically to the behaviour code?

I mean why did they always follow/obbey his orders without any complains or will?

The students are excited to be a part of something bigger than they were used to. The wave gave them a collective sense of belonging and identity. They got caught up in the "mob mentality" of the wave.
