what was ben ross's reputation with the students and faculty like at gordon high school

He is a teacher at Gordon High School. He always tries to teach his lessons in a practically way to show his students the “relevant aspects of history” (page 10, line 25). So it seems to me that he really likes his job and he has fun to teach his students....The faculty seems to know he has a passion for teaching and is regarded highly in that context.
