What do the students learn from THE WAVE experiment?

I think everyone, including Mr. Ross, learn from the wave. The students learn the dangers of conformity and mob psychology. They had a greater appreciation of how an entire population might be lured into a fascist ideology. Mr. Ross learns the intoxicating effect of the power to manipulate so many people.
