Mr. Ross notices his class are more disciplined but lack individuality. They are much more homogeneous, even the class "looser" Robert Billings seems to fit in. The class take whatever Mr. Ross says at face value and follow instructions. Marks go up but individuality and creativity go down. Mr. Ross likes this at first but later realizes the dangers of his social experiment.
