I need to know this for a test so please resond. What does Mr.Ross mean when he talks about it doens't matter when the wave ends it's how the wave ends?

Mr. Ross is referring to the fact that the lesson needs to be seen through to completion..... that his students must come to understand the importance of individual freedom, as opposed to putting group unity before the individual. Ross wants his students to be aware of the fact that while people prefer to have leaders, they must think critically about whether their leaders deserve their allegiance.
