How did the experiment and the events stemming from it affect the class ( DAVID, LAURIE & MR. ROSS)

I think they were all affected by it in different ways. David bought into the discipline and sense of purpose the wave gave him. Mr. Ross got carried away with his own power and influence over the student body. Laurie saw the ill effects of the wave. She felt ostracized and powerless to change things.
