Explain why Ben conducts the classroom experiment of The Wave.

Mr. Ross conducts the experiment with his students in order to answer the question posed by his students, which was to ask why no one did anything to stop the Nazis. Ross' experiment uses many of the Nazi techniques.... propaganda, The Wave group (similar to the Hitler Youth), the use of mottos, as well as discipline and complete deference to the leader, Mr. Ross. In this experiment, he successfully answers the question of "how" things like the Holocaust could happen, and why no one does anything about it.
