Describe the relationship between David and Laurie. Give 3 examples from the story

Before the Wave David and Laurie were the good looking popular couple in the school. Laurie begins to get pretty creeped out with David's involvement with the teacher's (Mr. Ross) fascist simulation. Laurie becomes increasingly afraid of David's obsession and David becomes increasingly agitated, almost aggressive, as Laurie refuses to buy into the ideology.
