Chapter 2: Eric says, "i would never let such a small minority of people rule the majority". What is the problem with his approach?

The problem with Eric's approach is that fear and ignorance led to a "blind eye". He is assuming that one person could have stood up to an army, not considering what it would take to act individually in such a situation. As a young, African American, you might think that Eric would understand the effects of being a minority.... think about the times before the Civil Rights Movement.... think back to slavery. The problem with his approach is that he is not utilizing prior knowledge when commenting.... he's simply reacting.
