How are Christof and Sylvia contrasted in these final scenes? Are they similar in any way?

Sylvia wants Truman to have his freedom while Christof claims that Truman has the best freedom of all in his TV show. Sylvia counters that the show is only fabricated freedom. Christof says that Truman has the best kind of freedom, a freedom without consequences. Both characters love Truman in their own way.
