Three flaws of Ruth Balicki?

I can't see many flaws in her character. Ruth is pretty flawlwss. After the war she seems to be trying to recapture her lost childhood by regressing emotionally and following her mother everywhere for fear of losing her again but I'm not sure that is a flaw.
