What are the useless jobs the terrible trivium gave to Milo, Tock, and the Humbug?

He gave Milo the job to transfer all the hay to the other side using a clip. He gave Tock the job to transfer all the water form one well to the other using an eyedropper. He gave Humbug the job to dig out part of the cliff with a nailclip (if I'm not mistaken).

The tasks the Terrible Trivium gave to the trio were as follows:

1) Milo was told to transfer a pile of sand from one place to another using a pair of tweezers.

2) Tock was told to transfer water from one well to another using an eye-dropper.

3) The Humbug was told to dig a hole in the mountainside using a needle.
