Who are the Shepard brothers?

Tim is the leader of another Greaser gang which includes his brothers. They seem to be more organized and violent than Ponyboy's gang. By the final rumble, Pony is losing his interest in fighting. He fails to see the point: nothing will change regardless of the outcome.
