What is the plot of the story?

The story is generally about two gangs in the 1950's in Tulsa, Oklahoma. One gang, the Greasers, are always at odds with the gang of rich kids known as the Socs. Ponyboy, a Greaser, is the protagonist who guides us in this world of conflict.
