how are ponyboy and johnny different

Both Johnny and Pony are kindred spirits. They are on the same wavelength. Both are sensitive boys who enjoy movies and books. They know each other so well they don't always need to speak to communicate. Their differences are mostly their circumstances. Johnny comes from a family that really does not care about him. Pony has a family that does care about him. Johnny has parents while Pony's recently died. I think Johnny feels more isolated than Pony does.
