A) Who is the “doctor” that speaks to the judge before the hearing? B) What does out knowledge about this doctor say about Ponyboy and the hearing?

This was the doctor that examined Ponyboy and took care of Johnny at the hospital. I think the doctor was trying to tell the judge that Ponyboy was traumatized and to take it easy on him. The judge was very kind to Ponyboy.
