Flowering plants can only flower in climates their natural too, but you have to remember when you're talking about the "Origin of the Species," you have to have a whole different outlook on the transportation of seeds. Before the continents drifted apart, all types of species grew wildly; when continental drift occured, those same species moved into different climates and areas of the world, ect. "Habit,' or things that naturally occur have a decided influence on survival; as does changing.
