The Odyssey
How is Odysseus an uneffective leader?
Is there a possible example of Odysseus lacking trust from his crew members?

Two instances that immediately come to mind would be Odysseus' refusal to leave the Cyclop's cave, something that led to the death of six of his men. There is also the scene in which he warns his men not to eat the cattle and goes to sleep. During this time, his men go ahaead and eat the cattle anyway. They obviously did not believe him, which would make him an ineffective leader.
