What is an internal conflict for General Zarnoff?

Zaroff's internal coflict is found in the fact that he is bored with the thing he loves most..... hunting. His search for intelligent prey, as well as the epiphany that there is one intelligent animal he hasn't hunted (human animal) leaves him with the decision of being bored or hunting humans...... Zaroff chooses to hunt.
