The Most Dangerous Game
Story
Who is the protoganist of the story? What are the conflicts? Are they physical, intellectual, moral, or emotional? Is the main conflict between sharply categorized good and evil, or is it more subtle and complex?

Rainsford is the protagonist of the story. He is a pretty flat character. His main conflict is man vs man against a single antagonist (General Zaroff). There is no question the protagonist is meant to be good and the antagonist evil. There is a thin theme regarding the ethics of trophy or sport hunting but it is not developed in a substantial way. There is little real complexity in this story.
