human vs. human

I'm sorry, this is a short answer forum; we don't write student essays. The conflict oh human -vs- human is the main conflict in the story. Rainsford must outlast Zaroff in his own territory, or he will be killed. Zaroff has the edge because he's armed and on his home turf, but Rainsford has a lot of experience as the hunter and is able to anticipate what might or might not happen.
