Who were the Creators? What was the Glade?

The creators were the members (agents) of WICKED, who created the trials.

In actuality, the Glade was the very center area of the maze. It was surrounded by four walls and home to the Gladers, the children chosen by WICKED to unknowingly participated in the trials.
