Thomas initially knows far more about the Glade and its society than either he or we are aware. While working for Wicked, Thomas was undoubtedly involved in things that injured or killed members of the Glade. None-the-less, once he experiences the ramifications of the experiment he whole-heartedly supports those trapped in the maze.
