French can be described as aware, hopeful, and an idealist. He is also loyal and caring, as evidenced in his reliationship with his family group. While French is still young, he is already showing leadership qualities, and he knows that Miig is helping him develop those. French is somewhat naive, however, and misses many of the signs that Wab and Chi-Boy are a couple. He longs for a stronger connection with his heritage, but he fails to take advantage of Minerva's wisdom to learn. French's real name is Francis, but no one uses this name regularly other than his father.
